The sacrifice of praise?...really?

Hello everyone, welcome.
 Hebrews 13:15 says, "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.
say what????.... i mean like seriously? is that possible? does that make sense? These are the questions that pop into my head each time i come across these scripture or hear someone quote it. i have heard some explanation of this scripture still these two words "sacrifice" and "praise" placed side by side like that get me thinking... how does one give a sacrifice of praise? I and am sure a lot of other Christians too think of sacrifice as offering something at great cost to ourselves, giving something at a very inconvenient time. like for example if i had just enough money to feed myself and i saw someone in need and had to give up that money for their feeding or any thing else,that would be a sacrifice. while the word praise would mean to say something good about some one so help me out here, how do these two go together? why would the bible ask and expect us to put these two together? well i have done a little study and  i think i have found an explanation but i would like to hear from you,so please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section,and ill be back to share mine (what i found). tata!

So its the eve of the kick off for the 90 days bible challenge, and excitement is in the air. the ladies cant wait to get reading. someone said that for anything you do you should view the end even before the beginning, so here i am viewing the 90th day, seeing the finish line. looking past and beyond whatever things may want to drag us down and seeing the get together organised just to celebrate our victory. wow i hear the glasses clinking the laughter the joy, look at all the fun we are having. it was worth it these past 90 days we are the better for it. and we are mighty glad we went through it. all we ask sweet spirit of the living God is for our spirits to be open to yours all through the days so we might receive from you. it is the Spirit of the word that we want and not just the letter because the bible says the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.Take us over Holy Spirit, make us over through this experience and journey through the Word.

I will...His Will!!

“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.John 17:24... have you ever wondered what God's will is for you?... well you can start from here (King James version actually reads 'I will')... knowing that after having received eternal life,(verse 2)...it is His will for you to be with Him to see His glory and the purpose of that is to as a mirror, reflect same...isn't it a wonder how we go around carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders when a life of glory is God's will for us ...he wants it that way we are not forcing him to give it to us, we are not begging for it, its His will... why not have a turn around and begin to reflect on what ways to best reflect His glory...for you are a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. i think any institution that decides to advertise or put their wares o display, would...
