Highly Favoured!!!

Exo 3:21-22   

²¹ “And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed. ²² Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians.”

Why do you think it was women who were asked to go and ask  their neighbors for articles of silver and gold for the plundering of Egypt, a recompense for their labours and to facilitate the worship of their God? I think the answer can be found in a word in the preceding verse which talks about favour, it means to me that women are fashioned to be highly favoured of God. No wonder the bible says he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains (there's that word again) FAVOUR from the Lord, it means then(to my mind) that women have a very vital role to play in the prosperity or otherwise of their husbands and family. In  my opinion, it is given  to us to receive favour on their behalfs. May we as wives and   mothers rise up to our God given strengths and be what he has called us to be indeed!!!!
